I had the chance to check out the newest H&M Studio Collection AW16 when I was in New york for the Bloglovin x Man Repeller mentorship. I am one of the runner ups for the H&M x Bloglovin awards for Break Through Blogger of the Year. Please vote for me here.  I couldn't believe my own two eyes when I looked through the entire H&M Studio Collection for AW2016. The details in each piece blew my mind. I am really obsessed with the accessories from this collection, especially the boots, ee! I loved the big brimmed gaucho hat and the small cube bag as well. This collection is about the rich details and the fit. These are the two things I look for most in clothing, details and fit. I love the embellishments and the feminine silhouettes in each piece. The two pieces I picked from the collection stood out to me right away. I am obsessed with the embroidery on each piece and the detail and beading on the hater top. Of course I had to pick the one thing that had a collar on it, my motto is "put a collar on it!" I like layering items so right away I knew I wanted to put the halter top over the maxi sheer dress. I tried this on first and immediately loved it, I didn't have to try on anything else. I love how flowy this outfit is and I love the fit, it really is a perfect fit, very feminine and classic. The embroidery on the top around the waist really gave the illusion of a smaller waist, I love that kind of detail, who doesn't. These two pieces really work together, they look like they belong together.  I  added some fun accessories to my look and then it was perfect, big hat, glasses (of course), and red orange lipstick!

Ann-Sopfie Johansson, H&M's creative advisor talked about the different themes from the collection. She talked about the different silhouettes and how each piece was different.  The coats are oversized with rounded short sleeves. The pants are cut high and wide legged. Some of the key looks from the collection were the hourglass coat, folkloric blouse, wide pants, short sleeved double breasted coat, broken pinstripe suit, white shirt, and the velvet dress. Overall this collection blew me away, the quality, the fit, the details, the styles, all impeccable. If I could I would buy every single piece from this collection. This was my favorite part about the H&M showroom in New York. I felt so grateful to be there and to be able to see this collection first hand before anyone else.
