1. "okay but will this perm actually damage my hair??" Not on our watch. Curl Cult was built specifically so you wouldn't have to choose between curls and healthy hair. Vegan, protein-infused, and thio-free. Your hair will thank you. we protect as we perm

3. "i have wavy hair not curly… is this still for me?" YES. Curl Cult works for waves, curls, coils — all texture types. its also great for people that want to even out their texture with a partial perm

6. "how long does the texture service last?" Think of it like a traditional perm in that it's permanent — but it grows out with you naturally. No harsh line of demarcation, no awkward grow-out. It just evolves.3-6 months depending on hair length and they set you get
7. "do i need to use Curl Cult products after my service?" We always recommend it! Our shampoo + conditioner, and Magic Spell leave-in are made to work with your new texture. They protect and extend your results.
8. "does it smell like a regular perm?? bc those are RANK" We hear you — and we fixed it. Our formula smells SO much better. Clients barely notice it during the service. That was non-negotiable for us.

11. "can i color my hair AND do the Curl Cult service?" Talk to your stylist on timing — they'll map out the right plan for your hair. we recomend waiting 2 weeks AFTER your perm for color and or hilights
12. "what is PisumProtex and why does it keep coming up??" It's our proprietary pea protein + plex technology. It goes INSIDE the hair shaft during the service and gets locked in. That's what makes our curls healthy instead of just... curly.
13. "i'm scared of commitment. can i try the products first?" Yes! Our at-home line — shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, curl cream — is available without the service. Start there, fall in love, then come find us in the salon.
14. "is Curl Cult cruelty-free?" 100%. Vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate surfactant-free. We don't cut corners on that stuff. Ever.

18. "can i use regular shampoo after the service?" Please don't — stick to sulfate surfactant-free formulas. Our Refresh shampoo is made for exactly this. Regular shampoo can strip your results and dry out your curls.
19. "who is behind Curl Cult??" Curl Cult was founded by celebrity stylist Janine Jarman, owner of Hairroin Salon in LA. She spent 7 years developing this line because she believed the industry could do better for textured hair. We still believe that every day.
