Such a fun little full circle moment for Ryder! She was featured in the September issue of the Tolucan Times, and she was SO excited about it.
A while back, Ryder’s little brother Rockwell was featured in the Tolucan Times, and of course Ryder immediately wanted to know when it was going to be her turn. So when the opportunity came up to do something special with Ryder, she was beyond excited.
We shot everything at Milt & Edie’s Drycleaners, which was honestly the perfect backdrop for her. If you know Ryder, you know she loves fashion, dressing up, and anything colorful, so shooting at such an iconic and quirky spot felt very her.
The amazing Jessi Gray photographed everything, and we had the best time shooting together. Ryder got dressed up, posed around Milt & Edie’s, and even sat outside reading her own copy of the Tolucan Times. Seeing the final photos printed in the paper was so cute.
The September feature was also extra meaningful because it coincided with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and celebrated a huge milestone for Ryder. On July 22, she rang the bell after completing her cancer treatment.
After everything she has been through, getting to have days like this that are simply fun, creative, and completely Ryder makes me so happy. She loves being in front of the camera, she loves fashion, and she was VERY pleased that she finally got her Tolucan Times moment after seeing her brother have his.
Thank you to the Tolucan Times, Milt & Edie’s, and Jessi Gray for making this such a special feature for our girl. We’re definitely framing this one.
